This year Spain has seen two major changes already. The first is the spelling changes that the RAE have decided upon (read about it in Spanish here ) and the second is that Spain has now had to come inline with the rest of Europe and they are not allowed to smoke inside at all - previously some bars and restaurants were allowed to choose if the establishment was smoking or non-smoking.
